People with Terminal Illness

I have worked extensively with people who have a terminal diagnosis through my work as the Manager of the Psychotherapy Programs at the Women’s Cancer Resource Center in Berkeley, CA from 2012 - 2018. During my tenure there I helped countless women find psychological care and created and managed many psycho oncology programs. Since that time I have worked with many people who have terminal diagnoses and their loved ones.

I have learned that while receiving treatment it is important to surround yourself with people - and a therapist - who can empathize with the grief over the loss of health and existential questions that arise.
