Pre and Postpartum Stress


I specialize in working with women who are expecting and new moms who are adjusting to parenthood. This time in a woman’s life can be confusingly overwhelming.  Immense physical and hormonal changes are coupled with sleep deprivation and new expectations and responsibilities. While we expect this to be a time of great joy, many women are unaware of the range of likely emotional reactions.

I’m passionate about maternal mental health, and have extensive experience with prenatal and postpartum families  I understand how important it is to have a safe, non-judgmental place to share in an open and honest way what being a new parent is really like.
